FBESD 7 - September Fire Station Construction Update

The Board of Commissioners is excited to share the latest update on the new fire station construction for Fort Bend Emergency Services District No.7. (FBCESD 7)

Additional work has been completed, bringing the District closer to the modern and efficient station the Board has envisioned for serving the residents of FBCESD 7.

A large portion of the HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) installation has been completed within the station. This system will allow for a comfortable and controlled environment for our dedicated first responders.

The contractor is completing the cleanup of our retention pond. One of the primary functions of this retention pond will be to effectively manage stormwater runoff and drainage from the facility grounds. During heavy rains and storms, water can accumulate rapidly and pose a flooding risk. This retention pond will collect and hold excess water, preventing flooding in and around the station.

At the direction of the Board, the contractor has also added a splash of color to our bay area with a coat of red paint to the exposed iron beams. This will not only enhance the station's appearance but also ensure the longevity of the structure.

Your continued support and patience during this construction phase is greatly appreciated. Together, we are building a facility that will serve and protect our community for years to come.
